Barack Obama has proven that he can take a punch and he looks more presidential day by day. He has shown great skill in being able to dodge or rebound from assaults by the Clinton Campaign that have shown that they are not above hitting below the belt. But its the GOP, with their God-fearing Christian-rite (no, they are not right) that take gutter politics to a whole new level.
Now it is the Tennessee GOP and Ohio talk show host Bill Cunningham, who have brought to the forefront the GOP's sometimes bigoted tendencies in their attempt to smear and denigrate Obama in separate incidents. Their venomous behavior is un-Christ-like and I don't think that God is pleased.
Their diabolical behavior only validates the point made by Obama that change will not come easy. Too many low-crawlers are fueled by their self-absorbed meanness. But it's the people of all backgrounds that hope for positive change in the tenor of America, that must "denounce" and "reject" the perpetrators instead of remaining silent.
