It's been said that people worship you when you're on top, but relish it even more when you have a setback. Witness Tiger Woods. Tiger can win 25,000 tournaments in a row, lose one or two in consecutive matches and the talk becomes that he is off his game. Oh, really?
Fast forward to Barack Obama. Obama wins 11 primaries or caucuses in a row, then loses three of four contests, then suddenly the media gleefully reports that he is off his game. Again, oh really?
What the media failed to report in a quality manner was that after promising to throw the kitchen sink, Hillary Clinton decided that throwing the toilet bowl would have a more sweeping effect. And judging by the amount of nastiness that it spewed, I would say that it was full.
We also know that with the success Hillary found in Ohio and Texas with the toilet bowl, her campaign strategists are busy filling up on more fiber.
Beyond the toilet bowl, equally surprising was the media's sanction of the negative campaign run by Clinton and the amount of voters that appear to like wallowing in pig squalor.
Now Obama has a dilemma. Does he throw his dukes up and land a punch right in the kisser or does he continue to play nice. Well, I know what I would do, but I'm not Obama. However nice or not nice, I think the public deserves to know what's in Hillary's tax returns and her real life examples of foreign policy experience beyond watching a James Bond movie.
